The next European Meeting on Psychosocial Aspects of Genetics (EMPAG) will be held on May 31st-June 3rd 2008 in Barcelona. This will be held concurrently with the European Society of Human Genetics meeting. Joint sessions with ESHG include: the future of genetic counselling, management of inherited cancers and prenatal/preimplantation diagnosis.

The EMPAG meetings have gained a reputation as a key event for those involved in psychosocial research as well as those providing clinical services, in particular genetic counselling. As usual, colleagues from a diverse range of disciplines will be welcomed.

The deadline for abstracts is Saturday February 16th 2008.
