Pre-registration is closed. Please register on site. The registration desk opens on Saturday, May 31, 2008 at 10.00 hrs.

* Participants having applied for new ESHG membership and paid their contribution before May 19, 2008 may pay the Member‘s fee. Membership information is available at www.eshg.org. Renewals of existing memberships can be made on site.

** Please provide a copy of a Student‘s ID or a confirmation signed by the head of department at the moment of your registration by fax to +43 1 407 82 74 or together with the hardcopy of the registration form. Confirmations handed in at a later stage cannot be considered. Please note that the Student fee is not applicable for Post-docs.


What is covered by the registration fee?

ESHG Congress Party at the "Pueblo Español"

Join us for a congress party with snacks and dancing at the "Pueblo Español" ("Spanish village") on Montjuïc. More details here.

  • The contribution towards expenses includes: access, finger food, 2 drinks per person and music.
    Price per person: EUR 39.- (EUR 22.- Students).

 

On-site Payment Modalities

Payment of Registration fees, may be made by:

  • Credit Cards: Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa (Amex cards cannot be accepted).
  • Cash in Euro

We are sorry not to be able to accept foreign currencies or cheques.

Please note
The reduced registration fee is only applicable, if it has been credited to the congress account before the deadline. Registering before March 31, 2008 without performing an actual payment is not sufficient to benefit from the reduction.

Confirmation of Registration
You will receive written confirmation of registration by mail when the registration form has been received and the payment has been credited to the congress account.
If your registration form is received between May 12 and May 19, 2008, you will be pre-registered for the conference, but no confirmation of payment will be sent. If you made a bank transfer, please bring proof of payment of your registration fee, when collecting the registration material.
After May 19, 2008, pre-registration will be closed, but you may register at the "On-site registration Desk" in the CCIB Conference Center in Barcelona, which will open on Saturday May 31, 2008, at 10.00 hrs.
Please do not perform a bank transfer after May 19.

Cancellations and Refunds
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing by registered letter or fax to the Congress Office.
Registration fees may be refunded as follows:
Written cancellation received:

- before April 21, 2008:     75% refund
- between April 21 and May 14, 2008:     25% refund
- after May 14, 2008:     no refund

The date of the postmark or fax ID will be the basis for considering refunds. Please indicate the preferred method of reimbursement (cheque or bank transfer, incl. account number) on your written cancellation. Refunds will be made after the congress.

Registration Schedule
January - March 31, 2008:  Pre-Registration & payment at the reduced rate. At the venue, please register at the "Pre-registration desk"
April 1 - May 19, 2008:  Pre-Registration & payment at normal rate. At the venue, please register at the "Pre-registration desk"
April 21, 2008: First Cancellation deadline (75/25% refund)
May 14, 2008: Second Cancellation deadline (25/0% refund)
May 31 - June 3, 2008:  On site registration & payment at normal rate. Please do not send in registration forms or perform bank transfers within this period. Please register and pay at the "On site-registration desk" at the venue.
Please note: Pre-registration without payment of the registration fee is possible. The (non-reduced) fee will then have to be paid at the registration desk (Credit card or cash in EUR).
