Job Description

We are seeking a Cancer Genetic service manager to join our growing team in the cancer genetic service in St. James Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. We provide a virtual, in-person and telehealth cancer genetic counselling as part of a national model of cancer genetic service provision for the Republic of Ireland. The service manager supports the operational aspect of service provision.

As genomics is being integrated into the routine care of cancer patients we are seeking a self-motivated and innovative service manager to work with the clinical team in the provision of a solution focussed and collaborate approach to service development.

The post would be suitable to someone with experience in healthcare management either in genomics/genetic service provision or another healthcare discipline or a candidate interested in gaining experience in genomic service delivery and development. Newly qualified genetic counsellors or aspiring genetic counsellor would be considered.
