Sarah Moore and Jin-Yeong Han (representing Oceania and Asia respectively) have recently stepped down from the ISCN Standing Committee as they have completed their term of office. Consequently, the ISCN standing committee is looking for new members to join the current committee. The position is non-remunerable and for a period of four years in the first instance. Most meeting are held remotely and expenses are paid for any in-person meetings. An excellent working knowledge of English is essential. There is a vacancy for two individuals, one from Asia and one from Oceania with neoplasia experience.
Interested applicants should have an extensive background in ISCN; experience of reporting of complex results for FISH, microarrays and NGS in neoplasia. Experience in OGM & NGS would be an advantage. The applicant should either be a head of department; section or a senior member of department.
Applicants should submit their CV to ros.hastings(at)outlook.com and a letter of support from the head of the department/institute. The CV should be no longer than three pages in length.
The current ISCN Standing committee will select the most appropriate candidate and the appointment will also need to be ratified by the HUGO Board.
