The European Journal of Human Genetics is the official publication of the European Society of Human Genetics, published monthly.  The Editor-in-Chief is Dr. Alisdair McNeill, and the editorial office is in Sheffield.

The current impact factor of the EJHG is 5.2 and it is currently ranked 30th out of 173 journals in "Genetics and Heredity".

About the Journal

The EJHG publishes high-quality original research papers, review articles, short reports, scientific correspondence and announcements relevant to the development of research, education and medical application in the field of human genetics.  It covers molecular, clinical and cytogenetics, interfacing between advanced biomedical research and the clinician and bridging the great diversity of facilities, resources and viewpoints in the genetics community in Europe and elsewhere.  Please note that any manuscripts being submitted to the European Journal of Human Genetics should include an electronic version to assist the review process.
