The ESHG honours excellence and significant work accomplishments in the field of human genetics and in particular related to the European Society of Human Genetics.

A plaque will be presented to the recipient(s) at the Annual ESHG meeting. Nominations will be at the discretion of the ESHG Board and the SPC and the award will be not be presented in a regular manner.
